Powered by a 5.2-liter V8 and a massive supercharger, the Ford F-150 Raptor R It’s a big beast, making 700 hp and 640 lb-ft (868 Nm) of torque. However it is not a fuel-efficient pick-up.

The EPA released fuel economy details, which revealed the truck is rated at 10 mpg city, 15 mpg highway and 12 mpg combined.

The Ram 1500TRX It’s its only rival with just as bad fuel economy, rated at 10 mpg city, 14 mpg highway, and 12 mpg combined. Although we do not believe that this is enough to not buy this model.


The engine derived from Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 makes it special. Ford has fitted it with five-link rear suspension along with extra-long trailing arms to optimize axle position on rough terrain.

Has Fox Live Valve shocks on all four corners and 24″ coil springs. The shocks are electronically controlled with height sensors to monitor ground conditions and adjust tuning.

The Raptor R it’s not cheap. Its starting price is $109,145 including destination and delivery charges, making it $37,000 more expensive than the V6 Raptor of 3.5 liters.
