It’s a pity, but good things must also come to an end, and after almost 12 years, the Fan officially retired. Although we can rest easy knowing that the next flagship of Lamborghini will still have a dozen cylinders, as indicated by the red logo V12 in the center of the prototype tachometer. And it is that, spy images of the interior of the successor to the aventador have come to light, and show details of the supercar’s cabin for the first time.

That the new top-of-the-range from Sant’Agata Bolognese has a redline that starts at 8,500 rpm in this day and age when almost all manufacturers focus on small turbocharged gasoline engines is a brutal gamble. This test vehicle has logged 6683 km (4153 miles) and appears to have an issue with the active rear wing judging by the warning message located to the left of the digital instrument cluster.

In addition, the most detailed viewers will notice the word “città”, which means that the prototype was in the “city” driving mode. The atmospheric engine was still running, taking into account that the tachometer marked 1,000 rpm and you can also see “hybrid” as the type of propulsion selected. Also, to the right of the driver display is a green icon with the silhouette of a supercar and an EV logo, signifying that the replacement of the Fan will have a all electric mode.

As for the center console, it appears to house two separate screens, with the lower one being smaller and flanked by a few shortcut buttons, perhaps of the touch-sensitive variety. The smaller screen might be for the weather settings, but we’re just speculating. Luckily, the screen that appears to be located on the dashboard does not actually belong to the car, as it is from a laptop used by the engineering team to measure certain parameters.

Stepping out of the car, it appears to have an “angry” looking front fascia as Lamborghinis often do. the tiny ones spotlights The front headlights feature a sharp design and are complemented by a separate light bar mounted in the lower portion of the bumper. Although, the camouflage may be playing a joke as it could still be a one piece headlamp.

The side profile shows that the wedge shape is still available, while giant air intakes cool the mid-mounted V12. Related to this, the engine compartment appears to have a split cover. The familiar hexagon motif is evident in the shape of the massive dual exhaust tips. They are flanked by cleverly disguised taillights with decals that mimic the design of the taillights of the Fan.

Fortunately, the wait is about to end, as the Italian manufacturer announced that it will present the supercar at the end of March 2023. So closer to the date we can see more news.
