Report reveals BMW USA will increase prices by up to $2,800 starting in 2023

The new car market continues to struggle to deliver enough vehicles to meet customer demand. This fact, combined with other factors, has led to a continuous increase in prices, something that practically all brands have done more constantly. A report via the Bimmerpost forums provides information on this. According to it, BMW USA will increase prices from 2023, the base prices have gone up and will take effect with vehicles produced on or after January 1. The German manufacturer states that “the current economic and political volatility, together with the continued shortage of supply” are to blame for the price increase. Additionally, all changes will be reflected in subsequent pricing systems once the January allocation is available.

Even so, it is known that from the available information, the increase varies from 1.2% to 3.3% depending on the model series. In monetary terms, this means between $600 and $2,800 on select models, with the BMW 760i xDrive (G70) experiencing the highest jump from $113,600 to $116,400. The M5 is also worth noting, as it became more expensive in June of this year and has now gone up again to $109,900.

It is also important to note that not all price increases will take effect on or after January 1.
